The Apple Self-Service Repair Program is expanding to cover even more devices, including the iPhone 14 series, the 13-inch M2 MacBook Air, and the 14- and 16-inch M2 MacBook Pro. In addition, Apple offers True Depth camera and speaker repair support on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineups and Mac desktops with the Apple M1 chip in the United States, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, and the United States. United Kingdom Users of the above devices can now order genuine Apple parts, tools and repair manuals to repair their phone, laptop or desktop.
In addition to the expanded lineup of devices, Apple is now making the iPhone repair system setup process free for self-service repair users and Apple Repair Program members. The tool is used to check display, battery, Touch ID or Face ID and camera repairs on iPhones with genuine Apple parts and previously users required to contact Apple Support to complete the process. Users will need to place their repaired devices into diagnostic mode and then follow the on-screen instructions to complete the system setup.
