Oppo is expected to launch its new flagship Find X6 series later this month, and there’s a very good chance it will unveil a new tablet as well: the Oppo Pad 2. Leakster Digital chat station shared an outline and some details about the upcoming list.
It will support a new “smart touch” keyboard, which will have a built-in trackpad and kickstand. It’s not entirely clear what “smart touch” means here, Oppo has never released a first-party keyboard for the original Pad or the Air anything to compare.
You can also see a stylus, this will be a new model (OPN2201) according to DCS extension. The leakster reports that the Oppo Pad 2 will be a much more refined experience overall.
There’s also an Oppo Find X6 alongside the tablet, which is presumably a nod to Oppo Connect, which simplifies connectivity between Oppo devices (and Windows computers too). You can drag and drop files, for example, the clipboard is shared so you can copy to one device and paste to the other, there is second screen support, and so on.

The Oppo Pad 2 recently appeared on Geekbench, revealing a Snapdragon 888 chipset with 8GB of RAM (the original Pad used the Snapdragon 870). There was talk of a Dimension 9000 version, but it’s not clear whether it will arrive or not. A 3C certification revealed support for 67W charging, the battery wasn’t listed but unofficial information claims 9,500mAh. Pad 2 should have an 11.6″ 144Hz 2,800 x 2,000px LCD (compared to 11″ 120Hz 2,560 x 1,600px on the original Pad).
