Xiaomi has just confirmed that it will be bringing its Xiaomi 14 series flagship smartphones out of China later this month. The Xiaomi 14 series will have its world premiere on Sunday 25 February in Barcelona, just before the MWC which starts the next day. Based on the teasers we can expect to see the debut of the long-awaited Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
The teaser suggests that we’ll see the Xiaomi 14 Ultra alongside the more compact Xiaomi 14. We’ve seen reports indicating that the 14 Pro, unfortunately, Not make its way out of China.
The landing page on Xiaomi’s official website teases “a new generation of Leica optics, reaching new heights,” which is most likely the supposed larger variable aperture on the 14 Ultra’s main camera. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to bring quad 50MP cameras with a Sony LYT-900 main sensor featuring a faster f/1.6-f/4.0 variable aperture compared to the f/1.9 – f/4.0 stop of the previous Xiaomi 13 Ultra . It is expected that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Android tablet will also be added to the Xiaomi 14 series.
