Huawei is preparing to launch its Nova 12 series in China next week. The news was confirmed by Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu with the event scheduled to begin on December 26 at 2.30pm Beijing time. We also received our first set of teasers for the Nova 12, which features a bold look with a striking blue color and embossed Nova branding on the back
The phone in the ads appears to have three cameras but we don’t have any additional information on its specs yet. The nova 12 series is expected to be available in no less than three variants with the nova 12, nova 12 pro and nova 12 ultra models. The base Nova 12 is said to come with Huawei’s Kirin 830 chipset while the Pro and Ultra may launch with the flagship Kirin 9000s chip.
The Ultra model will also support 100W fast charging, as revealed by a certification listing. The Nova 12 Ultra is also expected to bring back satellite connectivity and 50MP main camera with variable aperture f/1.4 – f/4.0 compared to its predecessor.
