Realme’s next flagship will be called GT5 Pro, and a rumor from this summer suggested an OmniVision OV64B sensor for the 3x telephoto lens. Now leakster Digital chat station has revised the information, suggesting that we will indeed see three Sony sensors. The user also claimed that the screen will have a resolution of 1.5K, which is a marketing term that the Chinese company mistakenly uses for 1220p panels.

If the new information is correct, we will see an IMX966 behind the main camera. It is said to be 1/1.4″ in size, but performs at the same level as the 1″ IMX989 due to its stacked construction. The ultrawide camera will have a 48MP IMX581 sensor, while the telephoto camera will have a 50MP IMX890 sensor.
It’s not the first time we’ve heard of a Sony IMX966 sensor for the main camera and a 48 MP one for the ultrawide one. We expect this combination to also appear on the OnePlus 12, which is reported to have the 64MP OmniVision sensor for the periscope camera.
