The Samsung Galaxy S24 series will come with Live Translate and Generative Edit

The Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are said to be “the smartest AI phones ever,” and the latest leak reveals two AI-powered features we’ll see on the S24 trio: Live Translate and Generative Edit.

The word comes from X user Arsene Lupine (@MysteryLupin), who posted an image of what may be an incomplete retailer listing. The description of Live Translate suggests that the processing will take place on the device to help you communicate in different languages ​​in real time using the S24 trio.

Generative Edit is apparently Samsung’s answer to Google’s Magic Editor, which will require a Samsung account and an active internet connection to work, meaning processing will likely take place in the cloud.

The image mentions three other features: Nightography Zoom, High Resolution, and Screen View. But there is no confirmation whether these will use artificial intelligence enhancements.

The high resolution will allow you to take photos at the maximum resolution supported by the phone’s main camera, which is 50 MP on the S24 and S24+ and 200 MP on the S24 Ultra. Nightography is self-explanatory, while Screen Display confirms a “flatter screen” for the S24 Ultra and “bigger, brighter screens” on the S24 and S24+ compared to their predecessors.
