The iQOO Neo 8 series is due out this month and the Pro member of the family is said to be among the first devices to feature Mediatek’s new Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The phone with model number V2302A has been certified on 3C/CCC, revealing that the iQOO brand is once again fast charging 120W on its most powerful Neo phone.
The standard is nothing new: it has been part of vivo’s portfolio since iQOO 5 Pro, which was launched almost three years ago. It pumps power at speeds of 20V/6A and is the same as its predecessor, the iQOO Neo 7 in all its variants. Vivo has also certified the S17e with 80W fast charging, which is an improvement over previous S devices.
The new iQOO Neo device was already benchmarked on Geekbench last week and we’ve known for several days that it will have a 16GB RAM option, which will be a big improvement over previous devices in the series. We are still waiting for the vivo brand to officially unveil the launch date and then start releasing teasers.
