Vivo has confirmed the existence of the V27 series, while keeping the timing of the launch vague. The phones will soon be available in India and will be sold through Flipkart, which already has a landing page (also visible on vivo.com).
The announcement comes with a couple of images showing the upcoming phones. Last time around, only the V25 Pro had a curved display, the Vanilla V25 and V25e had flat displays. We think both the V27 and V27 Pro will go curved this year.

The V27 Pro and V27e recently appeared on the Google Play Console, which revealed that both have displays with a resolution of 1,080 by 2,400 px (dimensions unknown). The Pro model will use a Dimensity 8200, the e-phone will have a Helio G99. The vanilla model, vivo V27, also leaked, appeared on Geekbench with an unknown MediaTek chipset (Mali-G610 MC4 GPU suggests something between Dimensity 1050 and 8000, which have 3 and 6 GPU cores respectively).
The triple camera with an LED ring light looks very different from the V25 setup. It looks exactly like another live series, more on that in a bit. First, check out this short teaser clip posted by vivo India:

The image confirms our suspicions that the vivo V27 series will be related to the S16 phones launched in China in late 2022. The S16 16 also features the Dimensity 8200, but the other models use different chipsets (all 5G). Here are some pictures of the vivo S16 and S16 Pro (yes, both have curved displays):

As for when the V27 might become official, vivo has scheduled the Y100 to launch for February 16 (Thursday), but we doubt that will be a shared event. A previous leak only said that the launch would happen this month (well, the V27 and V27 Pro will launch in February, the V27e will presumably arrive later).
