Vivo’s flagship X100 series is now available globally, although specific market availability is yet to be confirmed.
The vivo X100 Pro and vivo X100 debuted in China in November with similar hardware. Both pioneer the Dimensity 9300 chipset with only high-performance cores and have the same 6.78-inch LTPO 8T AMOLED displays with 1260p resolution and 1-120Hz variable refresh rate. The panels can reach peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits and offer 2,160Hz PWM dimming for eye protection. There are integrated fingerprint readers and 32MP front cameras housed inside a punch-hole.
Both phones have an IP68 rating for dust and water protection, come with Android 14 with vivo’s Funtouch OS 14, and come in two colors: Startrail Blue and Asteroid Black.
The 1/2.0 inch – also the first mobile zoom to have Zeiss APO certification. There’s also a 50MP, 15mm ultrawide. The Pro benefits from vivo’s brand new 6nm V3 imaging chip.
The vivo X100 Pro also has the largest battery: a 5,400 mAh unit with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The vivo X100 Pro
The vivo X100 has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging and a slightly watered down camera system. The 23mm wide angle has a 50MP 1/1.49-inch sensor, a 70mm f/2.6 zoom with a 64MP 1/2.0-inch sensor, and the same 15mm ultrawide. The X100 installed the older V2 imaging chip.
The vivo X100 is available in two configurations: 12/256 GB and 16/512 GB. The vivo X100 Pro is available in a single 16/512GB drive. The price will be detailed later.
