The time has finally come for Xiaomi to announce its 12S smartphone line: Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12S Pro and Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The event is scheduled to start at 11:00 UTC (13:00 CET) and you can tune in to the stream below.
The Xiaomi 12S series will usher in the new partnership between Xiaomi and the legendary camera company Leica. All three Xiaomi 12S series phones will receive Leica image enhancements, but the 12S Ultra will be the star of the show with its 1-inch sensor: Sony’s IMX989.
The regular Xiaomi 12S and Xiaomi 12S Pro are content with the smaller Sony IMX 707 sensors. All three phones will also receive the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets.
