The Redmi 13R 5G quietly debuted today in China and is already available for registration. It has a 50MP AI Cam, a 6.74-inch LCD with 90Hz refresh rate and is actually a rebadged Redmi 13C 5G for the home market.
The Redmi 13R 5G has a Dimensity 6100+ chipset and a single memory configuration: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It’s a dual-5G phone with space for two SIM cards and a microSD card in a long tray.
It also has a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, but Xiaomi only provides a 10W adapter in the box.
The only difference between the Redmi 13C 5G and the Redmi 13R 5G is the design around the camera: the Chinese version has a large black rectangle that extends from side to side.
The colors are still black, green and purple, but while internationally they are labeled “Star Trail”, at home they are just “three dream colors”.
The price of the Redmi 13R 5G is CNY 999, or equal to $140/€130. Registrations are open on the company website. You can sign up to be notified when pre-orders open to ensure they’ll be among the first to actually purchase the device.
