Xiaomi is working on a new flagship smartwatch, leakster Digital Chat Station reveals on his Weibo profile. The tentatively named Watch S3 will have a larger battery than the S2 and for the first time a Xiaomi wearable will support LTE connectivity.

The Watch S3’s battery will be 520 mAh, slightly better than the Watch S2’s 500 mAh cell. The OLED screen will reportedly get an adaptive refresh rate, significantly improving battery life. The upcoming watch will also support 4G connectivity and native voice calling.

The leakster added in the comments replies that the Watch will likely launch at the end of the year at the Xiaomi 14 series launch event. The smartphones usually arrive in December as some of the first devices with the latest Snapdragon chipset Qualcomm’s flagship, and it looks like this year will be no exception.
