The Netflix app won’t work on the upcoming Apple Vision Pro and now Bloomberg reports that YouTube and Spotify also have no plans to provide apps for augmented reality headsets.

None of these services will launch a dedicated visionOS app, and their iPad apps also won’t be enabled for the $3,500 VR headset. The services will still be accessible through your browser, but obviously the experience will be quite different.

Vision Pro is available for pre-order starting today with deliveries scheduled for February 2nd. And while YouTube has a dedicated app for Meta Quest, Spotify has never developed an app for any VR headset.

Meta apps like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp are also not available on the Vision Pro. However, Meta hasn’t confirmed its plans, so we might see them again in the future.
