We subjected the Oppo Find X7 Ultra to our rigorous SBMARK Battery test suite to measure its performance in terms of battery life, charging and efficiency. In the results of these tests, we will analyze how it performed in a series of tests and in several common use cases.

The Oppo Find The 8-point improvement over its predecessor, the Oppo Find X6 Pro, pushed the latest flagship to first place in the battery rankings, a rare achievement for an ultra-premium smartphone.
Equipped with a robust 5000 mAh battery, the Oppo Find X7 Ultra achieved 67 hours and 12 minutes of battery life under moderate use. The device also excelled in various test scenarios, including idle screen, video streaming, gaming, and calls. While music streaming wasn’t as impressive as the other individual use cases, the battery life is still above average.
The Oppo Find However, wireless charging, which reached a maximum output of 50W, took more than 2 hours and 20 minutes to reach a full charge. However, the device managed to regain more than 10 hours of battery life with a 5-minute quick charge, placing it in the top half of our database.
The charging efficiency of the Oppo Find while charging. The device showed significant residual power consumption in both wired and wireless modes, plugged in or not. This was especially noticeable with wireless charging, where residual power consumption reached nearly 6W while on the stand. Nonetheless, the device’s discharge currents remained consistently low, indicating good overall optimization.
Balancing new power-hungry features while providing a satisfying user experience is often a challenge for ultra-premium smartphones. The Oppo Find X7 Ultra stands out in this segment, offering exceptional battery life and meticulous tuning, making it the best in its class.

How the efficiency score is composed
The SBMARK Energy Efficiency Score is composed of two sub-scores, charging speed and discharging speed, which combine both data obtained during a typical robot-based usage scenario, calibrated tests and charging evaluation, taking into account battery capacity of the device. SBMARK calculates the annual energy consumption of the product, shown in the graph below, which is representative of the overall efficiency during a charge and when in use.
