The new Pokémon Snap will receive a new update in August, which will bring a whole host of additional content to the Switch game, including 20 extra Pokémon.
Revealing the update in a new trailer that you can see below, Nintendo has confirmed that several new areas will be added to the Lental region along with the latest Pokémon such as Mew.
In total, there will be three extra areas added with the update. These include Secret Slide Path, in which the player is shrunk so that Pokémon appear much larger than themselves, the location of the Mightywide River rapids, and the Barren Badlands barren desert course.
The update will also include a new day and night cycle feature, which will allow players to catch Pokémon at different times of the day. The launch is scheduled for August 4th and will be free for anyone who has a copy of New Pokémon Snap.
